 Travel Security Courses

Our approach to travel security courses

Our travel security courses center around human behaviour, social engineering and resilience through experiential, realistic and accelerated learning.

Human behaviour in security incidents accounts for over 70% of all cases.

While many course providers provide "off-the-shelf" and standardised courses, we believe in tailoring our courses to your threat picture, ensuring relevance, realism and value for money. You get threat based content on top of a solid foundation of core topics such as travel planning, situational awareness and hotel safety.

We don't categorise destinations as low, medium or high-risk and base course content off of that. As we've seen in the recent years, situations labeled "high risk" occur in "low risk" countries and vice versa.
If you're not sure what your threats or risks are, let us help you with that.

Traditional HEAT courses are made for EU personnel deploying to CSDP (EU) high risk missions.

There's no use in spending hours in simulated captivity if kidnapping is not a realistic threat to your travellers.

There's also likely less use for advanced driving skills, radio communications, compass bearings and landmine awareness if you are travelling to urban environments and modern cities.

Tailored does not mean complicated. It just makes more sense.
